Naka Karuizawa  Koya Backpackers hostel is a traditional Japanese
home. The building was moved from its original location to Karuizawa
in the early 1900's.

We have renovated the building without altering its original
atmosphere...the floors still make sounds and the noise of the wind
and the light from outside remind you that you are staying in an
authentic Japanese traditional home.
LOCATION

Karuizawa is a famous resort town in Japan that is surrounded by
mountains and forests and is located at the foot of Mt. Asama, a live
volcano.

The town is 1000 meters above sea level and is nice and cool
in sumer; perfect for hiking, tennis, golf..or just lazing around in
the hammock and enjoying a nice BBQ with new friends.

The hostel has a communal kitchen for all to use, and we can provide
pre made Indian food from our family restaurant or local japanese food
